David Cahn is an accomplished researcher, equally at home in fmcg or b2b markets, and is also well-known as a specialist in business, commercial and especially operational management challenges in market research. In the ‘80’s he headed up Research International’s Italian company, based in Milan, and was International Marketing Director for the RI Group, headquartered in London. David managed the Operations portfolio at Research International UK (a WPP company), for over a decade, pioneering many radical methodologies which have since become mainstream, such as outsourcing. From 1991-2003 he was Joint Vice Chairman of RIUK.

In 2003, David founded synygis ltd, to provide project management, logistics and operations management consultancy to the research industry.

David was a founding Council Member of the British Market Research Association and between 1997 and 2003 was responsible for collecting and disseminating the BMRA’s research industry statistics. David graduated in social psychology from Sussex University, UK.
